NEW LOOK BARBOUR SERVICES
For the past six months, Barbour has been working on major enhancements to their health and safety web services and these are due for release in August.
This release is based on input from over 1000 users. It represents a significant advancement in terms of offering a one stop shop for professionals with step by step guidance and advice on key topics, tied up with 90,000 original critical and supporting documents from 3rd party providers such as HSE, Parliament, Trade Unions, Employers Federations and Research organisations.
Key aspects of the release include more Barbour commissioned content including new step by step key topic guides and a diary of legislation and consultations plus exclusive breaking news updated daily from the Press Association. The 3rd party content from 600 information providers has also been enhanced by marrying Barbour’s powerful, relevance-ranked search and retrieval software with a set of filters which enable users to hone in on legislation, case law, guidance or standards immediately.
Barbour’s renowned Briefing service has also been reviewed to make it more relevant to each topic area including an increased focus on prosecutions and case law.
“We are very excited about these developments which we see as a platform for the addition of many new features over the coming months. Our aim is to provide users with a clear path to navigate through the wealth of information available and quickly understand what, if any action they need to take” says Bernard Johnson, Barbour’s Commercial Director.
These new enhancements mean the Barbour web services are even quicker and easier to navigate, allowing professionals to intuitively access a wide range of content.
